Pearl is the club’s seamstress who’s been there since day one and knows more about what it takes to survive than anyone. Running the club and answering only to the top is general manager Billy Morton, who also shares a close friendship with Nick. With all of these larger-than-life ambitions, there are even greater secrets. It’s a good thing Hef’s Playboy Mansion is open after hours for a little R&R – and burying your past.

Frasier Crane, everyone’s favorite self-absorbed psychiatrist from Cheers, moves back to his hometown of Seattle. “Frasier” provides a weekly dose of the neuroses and tribulations suffered by an insecure and pompous psychiatrist, Dr. Frasier Crane, host of a Seattle radio advice show at KACL. The twice-divorced doctor’s peaceful home life of fine cigars and haute cuisine was shattered when his gruff, ex-cop father, Martin, was injured in the line of duty and forced to move in with Frasier. Martin brought with him a semi-psychic, live-in home-care provider, Daphne Moon, his pesky Jack Russell terrier, Eddie, and a duct-taped recliner that clashes with Frasier’s more aesthetically pleasing Eames and Wassily chairs. Their home is frequently visited by Frasier’s snobbish and competitive brother, Niles, a fellow psychiatrist whose longtime romantic interest in Daphne was finally happily realized at the conclusion of Season 7. At work, his slightly jaded producer and man-hungry single parent Roz Doyle, supports Frasier. Some of the people who voice the callers to Frasier’s radio program are often bigtime celebrities.

“Frasier”, starring Kelsey Grammer in his Emmy Award-winning title role of Dr. Frasier Crane, made history by becoming the first series, comedy or drama, to achieve a record five consecutive Emmy wins for Outstanding Comedy Series. With this achievement, the series stands ahead of “Cheers”, the series from which “Frasier” was spun-off. Overall, “Frasier” earned a total of 37 Emmys (more than any other series in history), including four for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for Kelsey Grammer and four for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for David Hyde Pierce. It’s also interesting to point out that Kelsey Grammer played the part of Frasier for 20 years, tying him for the longest duration playing the same character on television and, that the show included guest appearances from almost all regulars from “Cheers”, excluding Kirstie Alley.

Season 1 Ep.01: Northwest Passage

The small northwest town of Twin Peaks, Washington is shaken up when the body of the Homecoming Queen, Laura Palmer, is discovered washed up on a riverbank, wrapped in plastic. FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper is called in when Ronnette Pulaski, who attended the same high school as Laura, is found wandering on a bridge before lapsing into a coma. Cooper believes there is a connection between Laura’s death and the death of another girl named Theresa Banks that happened a year earlier. Cooper discovers a small piece of paper with the letter “R” on it shoved under Laura’s fingernail. He reveals to Sheriff Truman that under the nail of Theresa Banks he found a “T.” There’s little doubt the same killer has stuck again. Meanwhile, the rebellious Audrey Horne ruins a business deal for her father Benjamin; Twin Peaks sheriff Harry S. Truman arrests Laura’s boyfriend Bobby, who is secretly seeing a married woman named Shelly; Laura’s best friend Donna and secret boyfriend James discover a mutual attraction; and Laura’s mother has a terrifying vision.

Homecoming Queen Laura Palmer is found dead, washed up on a riverbank, wrapped in plastic sheeting. FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper is called in to investigate the murder of this young woman in the small, Northwestern

town of Twin Peaks. What he doesn’t know is that in Twin Peaks, no one is innocent.

Twin Peaks was created by TV veteran Mark Frost (Hill Street Blues) and edgy filmmaker David Lynch, Academy Award nominated director of The Elephant Man, Blue Velvet and Mulholland Dr. It aired on ABC from 1990 – 1991. The series, with a few exceptions, followed the interesting convention that one episode equaled one day in the town of Twin Peaks. This means that after 30 episodes, the series covers just slightly more than one month.

After Twin Peaks was canceled by ABC, David Lynch went on to make the prequel film, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, the story of the last seven days of Laura Palmer.

Season 1 Ep.01: The Informer

The prisoners create an elaborate underground ruse to fool a German spy that has been placed in their ranks.

Set in a prisoner-of-war camp during World War II, Hogan’s Heroes is lightly based on the play/film, “Stalag 17.” Hogan’s Heroes focuses on the exploits of five main prisoners of war (Hogan, LeBeau, Newkirk, Carter & Kinchloe who, while under the cover of being typical prisoners of war, are really secretly doing their best to sabotage the German war effort through whatever means necessary. They communicate regularly with the outside, easily move throughout the camp and outside to town by using numerous tunnels, and have all the munitions, money, and uniforms to do pretty much as they please.

While the enemy is often gullible, easily fooled or downright incompetent, the real strength of Hogan’s men is the elaborate ruses and sometimes dangerous lengths they will go to in order to complete their missions.

These missions included regular sabotage, helping prisoners escape, and aiding the underground opposition. The more elaborate tasks include immobilizing battalions, confusing the German general staff, and kidnapping important scientists. The silly Germans of Stalag 13 are the head Sergeant (Schultz) and the camp Kommandant (Klink).

For those who only know the show peripherally, it is dismissed as being produced in poor taste because of the horrors of WWII, but this show takes place in a POW camp run by the German Luftwaffe and not the SS or Gestapo. The exploits of Hogan’s heroes were often based on real POW stories from WWII. Leon Askin as General Burkhalter, Howard Caine as Gestapo Officer Major Hochstetter, and Bernard Fox as British Colonel Crittendon appear as recurring characters to cement the show’s ensemble cast.

Season 1 Ep.01: Escape from tomorrow

Astronauts Alan Virdon and Peter Burke crash land on a strange planet. After being rescued by a friendly human, Virdon and Burke discover this planet is ruled by intelligent apes. To their horror, they discover that they are back on Earth in the year 3085. Meanwhile ape leader Dr. Zaius learns of the presence of the spacemen and wants them captured and questioned, much to the chagrin of General Urko, who wishes them dead. To protect his interests, Zaius sends his young assistant Galen with Urko to retrieve the humans. The apes capture the humans and they are taken before the council. Zaius orders them confined for questioning, but Urko conspires to free the humans, and then kill them as escaping prisoners. However, Galen learns of this and foils Urko’s plan, allowing the humans to escape. Galen is arrested and accused of murdering one of the guards. The humans must rescue Galen before retrieving a magnetic disc, which could hold the key to returning to their time, from their ship before the apes destroy it.

Astronauts Alan Virdon and Pete Burke are thrown 1100 years forward in time to 3085 AD to find evolved apes have become the dominant species and humans their apathetic slaves. Feared by the ape authorities, their plight turns the head of a promising young chimpanzee named Galen, who adopts the heretical idea that maybe humans aren’t a lower species and can co-exist with apes as equals. As the three struggle to survive life on the run, a bond of friendship grows between them like an intricate tapestry woven right before our eyes, a multi-threaded miracle born of compassion, respect, and the desire to replace fear with understanding.

The series is loosely tied to the original movie series, reusing some footage and the ape makeup (albeit on a lower budget). Although it only lasted 14 episodes and spawned four paperback adaptations and 5 stitched-together TV movies, it retains a strong fan following and the occasional resurgence of interest with the 2001 remake of the original movie and the occasional SciFi Channel marathon or late-night cable showing of the TV movies.

Season 1 Ep.01: The Flying Nun

Located atop a hill in old San Juan, Puerto Rico, the Convent San Tanco is populated by among others the stern and traditional Reverend Mother Superior Plaseato, straightforward Sister Jacqueline, English challenged Sister Sixto who is always mixing her English slang around, young innocent novice Sister Ana, Sister Teresa and Sister Marguerita. The convent is an old, beautiful building but is showing its age and is need of major repairs – as is everything the sister’s own – money for which the sisters do not have. Into their world enters Sister Bertrille, a new novice from New York, who is to teach kindergarten. Sister Bertrille is an ex-surfer girl hippie with tons of enthusiasm who will go to any means to achieve what she wants and what she thinks the convent needs. This includes striking up a friendship with local entrepreneur and playboy, Carlos Ramirez, the owner of the Carlos A-Go Go Discotheque and Casino in San Juan. Carlos own a piece of property that would be perfect for a new school for the convent, and Sister Bertrille thinks it would be perfect for Carlos to donate it to the convent. This approach goes against the wishes of the Reverend Mother, who considers it undignified and uncouth. Above all of this, Sister Bertrille discovers that the strong winds of San Juan coupled with the wing-like coronet of the nun’s habit can make her go airborne. She quickly learns how to fly by raising and turning her head and the associated coronet. Among those that see her fly is Carlos, who thinks he has seen a vision and as such, decides to donate his property to the convent and the sisters. But those that do not see her fly are the men of the restricted military base into which she accidentally flies. It takes some convincing for them to believe she’s not a spy. But the person who may need even more convincing is the Reverend Mother, who must decide what to do with her new flying novice.

The Flying Nun was a one of the many fantasy sitcoms on the 1960s. It was about Elsie Enthrington, a surfer girl, who became a nun. Now named Sister Bertrille, the young novice discovered that she had the ability to fly. She only weighed 90 pounds and when the wind was right she could put on her cornette and fly.

In 1967, she arrived at the Convent San Tanco in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Reverand Mother who ran the place was a strict conservative who usually had to put up with Bertrille’s mishaps. Sister Jaqueline, a wise nun with a sense of humor became Sister Bertrille’s friend (Sister Jaqueline also narrated the show). The sister was also friends with Sister Sixto, a Puerto Rican nun who was struggling with her English language, and Sister Ana, another younger nun.

She had a special relationship with Carlos Ramirez, a playboy who owned the Carlos-A-Go Go discoteque. Carlos was usually disturbed by Sister Bertrille right in the middle of hot dates, and because of this he dreaded her visits. Deep down, though, Carlos was a great friend to the airborne novice.

For three years, The Flying Nun was a favorite among kids and adults, and was praised by actual Catholic nuns for its portrayal of convent life.

A buffalo hunter, Jase Murdock, is warned by Ross the storekeeper to stay out of Indian Territory. Matt goes to see Ross to ask if he outfitted Murdock. Ross tells Matt you tangle with Murdock you’re wish you hadn’t. Matt goes to talk with Murdock’s skinner, Golden Calf. Chester tells Matt Murdoch is gone. Matt goes after him. Murdock shoots at Matt. Golden Calf kills Murdock. His medicine was no longer good. Golden Calf is Murdock’s son.

Dodge City, known as the Sodom and Gomorrah of the plains, is a typical frontier city of the late 1800s with typical problems ranging from rumored Indian raids to bank and stage robberies, cattle rustling, and family feuds. All of these must be dealt with within the law and that task falls to… More Matt Dillon, US Marshal (James Arness).

Dillon is a man who prefers the use of logic over the use of the gun but the nature of the people passing through Dodge doesn’t always leave him that choice. Aided by various assistants and deputies over the years (played by Dennis Weaver, Burt Reynolds, and Ken Curtis), he does his best to keep the lawless element out of his town and his territory. Matt often solves his crimes through keen observation and deduction, an innovative approach for the times.

Crucial information about cases is often provided by his beautiful companion, Long Branch owner Kitty Russell(Amanda Blake), while they drink beer or whiskey in her establishment. Matt also often exchanges banter or bounces his theories off of the crusty town doctor, Galen Adams (Milburn Stone).
