Season 1 Ep.2: Terrible Savior

A subway slasher that kills with claws and leaves the victims looking as if they were mauled by a bear is on the prowl. When Catherine finds out about the case she begins to suspect that perhaps Vincent is the slasher. This lack of trust begins to strain their relationship. Meanwhile, the real culprit, begins to get uncomfortable when Catherine begins to investigate him.

Beauty and the Beast is a story that tells just how powerful love is. The show takes place in New York. Catherine Chandler is a wealthy woman who thinks that her life has no meaning beyond anything superficial. She longs for something more. Vincent is from a different world. He lives below the city in tunnels that have been forgotten. He must stay hidden because of his appearance. Though his appearance is different he has the heart of a man. He and Catherine share a bond that is stronger than friendship or love. Somehow they want to make their love work. Neither one of them knows how, but they are determined and refuse to give up. After all love is stronger than anything thing else. This is how the episodes started throughout the 1st and 2nd season: Vincent: This is where the wealthy and the powerful rule. It is her world, a world apart from mine. Her name is Catherine. From the moment I saw her, she captured my heart with her beauty, her warmth, and her courage. I knew then, as I know now, she would change my life forever. Catherine: He comes from secret place, far below the city streets, hiding his face from strangers, safe from hate and harm. He brought me there to save my life; and now wherever I go, he is with me in spirit. For we have a bond stronger than friendship or love…and although we cannot be together, we will never, ever be apart. The beginning changed in the 3rd season on “Walk Slowly.” This was the new one: Vincent: In this city of night, in this city of millions, there are countless stories. This is one of two lovers who shared a bond that changed their lives forever. It is my story. Her compassion opened my heart to a world where goodness and truth were stronger than hate or fear. Then, one day, she was taken from me by the forces of evil she battled so bravely.
